Another Update on the Books

Some good news at last ~ the re-printed First Book has now arrived and is available from Rob or Margaret at £14.95....

The Second Book is making good progress but I think that if we had known how many problems we would come up against ~ we might not have attempted to compile it !
However, it is 3/4 of the way there and the results so far are spectacular thanks to Tyra's publishing skills ~ really well worth waiting for it.
We hope it will be ready some time next month (April).

The Books update

Sadly, due to reasons beyond our control, we were unable to publish before the end of the year but we are very close and hope to have both the Original Book re-print and the New Book ready by mid-February....
We have already sold nearly three quarters of the planned print run and are wondering if we should plan a second run ~ the wonders of modern printing technology make re-printing a great deal easier than it used to be, and also it is possible to order smaller quantities without penalties.   The downside is that any computer problems create havoc with publishing dates !
Please note that we have decided to price the re-print of the Orginal Book at £14.95 (the same as the New Book).

Elkstones Book ~ 2nd Edition

The Book is making excellent progress although we are finding so much new information that it is difficult to decide where to stop !
If we are to achieve our planned publication date of 1st December, we intend to stop collecting text this weekend (15th September) and to complete the gathering of photographs as soon as possible after that.
We have decided to go for full colour which means the the price will probably be £14.95 ~ but it will be worth it because we have so many superb photographs of people, properties, and events !
And we will be publishing a re-print of the original 1st edition at the original price of £12.99
